Eskimo...
The weather outside is frightful,
A couple of our lovely model from class last night, and yeah, I made up the penguin, so he doesn't look right.
I'm selling a few drawings in an upcoming art show. It's called the $100.00 show because, everything is $100 bucks. There are some very well known artists in the show selling oil paintings and such, so my little drawings may not be as great of a value, but if you are in the area stop in and say hi.

girl

Since I moved, I haven't been drawing from life very much, so this is an old image that I hope I haven't posted before.
I really liked this model, she had a very egyptian feel to her and her poses. Of course this isn't egyptian at all, but anyway....
This is about a 5 minute quick sketch with some texture/color thrown in in Photoshop. Done at Disney Television Animation with Karl Gnass.

gesture

I typically attend a life drawing class on friday. The poses are generally from 2 - 5 minutes. I haven't gone in a while due to some other things going on with work/vacation, etc. So when I went last friday, I wasn't expecting much. I did get it together enough to do 3 or 4 drawings I felt I could keep (I keep only the good ones, or the ones in which I feel I did something I liked even if the drawing on the whole is lacking). So this is the best of that day.
