No, it's not an Old Testament reference. I just filled my last sketchbook and started a new one. This is the last drawing in the old one, and the first page from the new. The last sketchbook took 9 months to fill. I never start a new sketchbook on the first page, I guess I am too concerned with that first drawing and so I start close to the front, then eventually, near the end of the books life, I fill in the front.

Alpha and Omega (or the first and last)
